OISHI® Sauce | OISHI® Sauce is an ORIGINAL FAMILY RECIPE created in JAPAN over 100 years ago. |
Our OISHI® sauce contains NO FAT, NO OIL, and though it's a VEGETARIAN sauce , it's even more popular for Stir Frying, Basting, Marinating and BBQ’ing all Meats, Fish, and Seafood. The true beauty of this incredible sauce is that oil or butter is never used when cooking with it – Everything is cooked from it’s raw state in the OISHI® Sauce only! and OISHI ® Sauce delivers a delightfully different flavor with different foods DIRECTIONS USE NO OIL or BUTTER ---- EVER ! AS A STIR FRY : Simply cover the bottom of your pan with OISHI® Sauce and heat on high till the sauce starts to boil. Add whatever is it is you want to cook ( Chicken Pork Beef Fish Seafood or Vegetables) and cook till desired doneness. Depending on how long you’re cooking your dish simply add water (a little at a time) if the sauce starts to caramelize (thicken) more than you’d like. We however LOVE the caramelizing to pour over meats because it adds a beautiful golden glaze. If your meat is done before you’ve reached the caramelized consistency, simply remove the meat and keep the sauce boiling till you’re satisfied. VARIATION: Add fresh grated ginger, wasabe, Keens dry mustard, hot peppers etc, (to taste) to the sauce when you first start cooking, and continue as above. AS A MARINADE: Simply cover your meat or fish the night before, and use the sauce to cook it in. While cooking your marinated meat, thoroughly boil the leftover marinade, (this will kill any bacteria from the raw meat juices and also thicken the sauce), which can then be used to baste the meat during the last 10-15 minutes of cooking, or as a sauce to pour over the dish at the table. TRY THESE! Create a wonderful Salad Dressing by mixing equal parts OISHI ® Sauce and mayonnaise and adding a squirt of lemon and sesame seeds to taste. 1 part OISHI ® Sauce to 5 parts water will provide a wonderful and tasty Soup Broth for a hot or cold noodle soup, or use the same recipe to cook your Rice to add a delicate flavor!! For a wonderful OMELETTE – simply add approx. 1 TBSP of OISHI ® Sauce for each egg, along with some green onions, peppers, etc and cook on HIGH heat ( no butter!) till it’s mostly cooked and then flip over the omelettes to finish cooking with NO heat – The residual heat in the pan and stove will finish it off beautifully. RECIPE : GINGER PORK AND APPLES Cube up Pork and thinly wedge (Royal Gala or cooking) apples. Cook Pork and 1 tbsp fresh grated Ginger in OISHI ® Sauce (with Raisins if desired). Add Apple wedges during the last minute before Pork is done. Serve on a bed of Rice.
